What is Nadra Card Service?
Nadra Card Service is an online and in person service for applying different types of Pakistani ID cards, passports and certificates, for example FRC/CRC. You can apply online or in person the followings:
- New Overseas ID Card (NICOP) for the first time.
- ID reprint if your card was lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
- ID renewal if your card has expired.
- ID modification if you want to amend your national identity data.
- New/ Renewal/ Modification/Cancellation of Pakistan Origin Card
- New Family Registration certificate or verify the FRC.
- Verification of Child Registration Certificate.

How does this online system work?
The Nadra Card Service website allows you to easily acquire your National ID in 3 simple steps:
STEP 1: Registration
Register an account on Nadra Card Service's website. You can access it using the Apply Now button on the homepage. You need to give a valid mobile number and email address for account verification.
STEP 2: Fee Submission
Depending on your application category, you will be asked to pay your fee at either the start or the end of the application (varies between application types). We accept all major Debit/Credit Cards and Paypal.
STEP 3: Online Application
Complete your online application and make sure all provided information is correct. Upload your photograph, fingerprints and supporting documents. Instructions on how to upload documents are available on the homepage under each application category.
And you are done!
Your Application will be processed by NADRA and the ID Card shall be delivered at your address. You may be contacted in case any further information is required.

What documents do I need to apply online?
You will have to upload supporting documents with your application to facilitate the processing. The required supporting documents depend on your chosen application type.

How long will it take to Process and Deliver my ID Card?
The card delivery and processing timelines depends on the application type selected. Like for Normal category, the delivery time of card is approximately 31 days after approval by the case officer. Similarly, delivery time for urgent and executive categories is approximately 23 and 7 working days respectively. Case officer timelines depend on the application submitted by the applicant. If an application is submitted carefully along with complete documents, it can get approved in 48 hours. However, incomplete applications can take longer time and depends on the applicant’s reply to the case officer.
How do I pay the Application Fee?
You can pay the fee:
- Online at Nadra Card Service using a credit card or debit card.
- In person at Nadra Card Office.
Can I pay with someone else’s credit card/debit card?
You can also pay by someone else’s credit or debit card, but not without consent of the card owner.
Can I pay by cash?
Yes, cash can be paid in person at our Nadra Card Service Office or when we visit your home. You would be issued a receipt which could be presented to track your application.
Will I be notified about the status of my application?
Nadra Card Service will send notify regarding the process of your application on the provided mobile number or email address.
